Course Overview

The Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) offers a comprehensive curriculum covering laboratory procedures, equipment operation, and diagnostic techniques essential for healthcare. Students gain practical skills in sample analysis, quality control, and laboratory management, preparing them for careers as skilled laboratory technicians in medical settings.

Two-year duration with a balanced curriculum covering core subjects in MLT and Phlebotomy.

Learning Path

Study of organ and body system in details including - CNS,CVS, Respiratory system, Digestive system, Reproductive System, excretory system, Endocrine glands and skin
Manage specimens handling, receiving, and storage and inventory control.
Carry out different immune-haematological investigations and coagulation profile tests
Handling of instruments and sterilization techniques.
Collect, preserve and process blood samples
Ability to learn and use complex equipment safely
Equipment callibration and equipment maintainance

Path

Laboratory technician can work in Lab as Phlebotomist, Laboratory Technician,Blood Bank Technician,Histo-technician, Lab supervisor, Lab manager, Cytogenetic Technician, Entrepreneur.
Student can pursue B Voc MLT or BSC MLT for further education.
